e going back to normal". So i put them in the shower with me. Yep, you guessed it-Noah pooped in the bathtub! I was all alone, and so i jump out of the shower, dripping water and shampoo suds while i look for the wipes. Totally disgusted, i take care of the mess. I'm over it, and thinking that i'll have a story to make Joe appreciate me a little more. I get out and I'm getting lotion on Noah while Ethan splashes around in the bathtub until his turn. I looked up and smiled at him as he splashes away and SOMETHING BROWN splashes up AND STICKS TO HIS FACE!!!! I looked in the bathtub and Ethan has now pooped in the tub and SMASHED IT ALL AROUND with his splashing! He is sitting in his poop water with all of his bath toys that are all contaminated and disgusting-bleagh. That was my breaking point. Why couldn't they have gone during their naps, or if they just had to go in the tub, they could have at least done it all at once. Things just don't work out that way i guess. So here i am, crying in frustration as i try to take care of my poopy kid and his mess in the tub. I filled the tub with clorox water, leaving his toys in with it, and I go to deal with Ethan. I look in his bedroom and i found a little spit up on the rug (that i had just cleaned by hand) and in the milky vomit i see one small brown chunk. Please please please just let that be the meatball that he had with his dinner last night. I didn't investigate further because i was afraid of what it would mean if i was wrong. Thankfully I had already called my friend Tawnya in tears insisting that she come keep me sane. By this time she has arrived and she got the boys dressed for me so i could get ready to take the boys to an appointment. Thanks Tawnya, you are a lifesaver! I don't know what i would have done if you weren't here. I may have had only one child left after this weekend. And thanks Joe for taking care of the poopies the rest of the night and this morning. I'm so lucky to have such caring people around me.

My Crappy Day
For the last few days, the bears have been putting out A LOT more messy diapers. They used to mess once a day, leaving only two poopy diapers a day. But this last week they have been leaving like 6 poopy diapers a day. Then on Thursday, they put it on overdrive and gave me NINE poopy diapers! NINE!!! So Friday morning when they woke up from their naps with clean bums i thought, "Oh, finally they ar
e going back to normal". So i put them in the shower with me. Yep, you guessed it-Noah pooped in the bathtub! I fell so sorry for you Jess. Now I don't know how much i want to be a MOM now.
(JK)
(JK stands for just kidding)
Remember the newborn days of several messy diapers a day?!? Why do babies poop in the tub? I hear of that happening all the time. I hope your day is better today!!
I had a good chuckle. Have been there with one--I can't imagine two. Keep smilin!
Yah. Why do they have to do it in the tub. And at separate times? Ugh.
What an adventure. I have had the poopy in the bath but never by two at a time. I have had Matthew poop once, clean it up, put him back in to get him clean again and him do it again.... I am with you on the grossness of it. Thanks for giving me a good laugh because I have felt those feelings before I really think I know how you felt.
When Riley was a baby, he used to shower with me all the time. I used to leave his "tub" toys in the shower all the time. You know I'm blind without my glasses, right? We'll I was getting ready for work one day and was taking my morning shower.....I could smell something stinky and looked around, but all I could see was toys (blurry toys) on the shower floor. When I got out of the shower and put my contacts in, low and behold I had taken my shower with CAT POOP that morning. Just thought I'd share - hope it makes you feel a little bit better.
That was one of those mothering stories that you just have to record. I too have a few, dealing with the same subject unfortunately.
