Intervention!!!
I'm realizing now that I am in dire need for a total hair intervention! I realize that its unconventional for me to orchestrate this whole thing, but i know you all love me and will support me in my decision to change. The above christmas picture shows my roots that are practically down to my neck. The cut is a little crazy and uneven as i have tried to trim it myself and i cannot continue to grow it out like this. My overall goal is to grow it out, but in the mean time i want something that will look good now AND as it grows.
PLEASE HELP!!!
I've never been one to go out and get my hair colored every 4 weeks or whatever is the norm, but is that what i need to do to make it look like a clean blonde hairstyle instead of my usual dirty blonde? What kind of cut will look good as it grows?
Also, I'd like to accomplish this on a budget-small budget.
Now i know that you girls have a wealth of knowledge in this area. I won't drop names, but i will say that i know most of you are more informed in this area than i am. HELP!!!

Fun Random Pictures
This is a picture that i printed out in black and white to hang in my bathroom. I've gotten a lot of comments about it so i thought i'd share it on the blog.
Tawnya, me, and Taysia at the mall being...immature. Yep, thats what I'd call it.
This is from Taysia's birthday this weekend. Starting from the back left. Michaela and Jared, Robyn and Mitch, Joe, Noah, Me, and Ethan, Jed holding Spencer and Tawnya in front of them in black, Brittany, Brandon, and Cayla an the back right corner. Left front is Taysia and Jameson, then Joseph and Angela grabbing his butt. Saturday, February 7, 2009
My Crappy Day
e going back to normal". So i put them in the shower with me. Yep, you guessed it-Noah pooped in the bathtub! I was all alone, and so i jump out of the shower, dripping water and shampoo suds while i look for the wipes. Totally disgusted, i take care of the mess. I'm over it, and thinking that i'll have a story to make Joe appreciate me a little more. I get out and I'm getting lotion on Noah while Ethan splashes around in the bathtub until his turn. I looked up and smiled at him as he splashes away and SOMETHING BROWN splashes up AND STICKS TO HIS FACE!!!! I looked in the bathtub and Ethan has now pooped in the tub and SMASHED IT ALL AROUND with his splashing! He is sitting in his poop water with all of his bath toys that are all contaminated and disgusting-bleagh. That was my breaking point. Why couldn't they have gone during their naps, or if they just had to go in the tub, they could have at least done it all at once. Things just don't work out that way i guess. So here i am, crying in frustration as i try to take care of my poopy kid and his mess in the tub. I filled the tub with clorox water, leaving his toys in with it, and I go to deal with Ethan. I look in his bedroom and i found a little spit up on the rug (that i had just cleaned by hand) and in the milky vomit i see one small brown chunk. Please please please just let that be the meatball that he had with his dinner last night. I didn't investigate further because i was afraid of what it would mean if i was wrong. Thankfully I had already called my friend Tawnya in tears insisting that she come keep me sane. By this time she has arrived and she got the boys dressed for me so i could get ready to take the boys to an appointment. Thanks Tawnya, you are a lifesaver! I don't know what i would have done if you weren't here. I may have had only one child left after this weekend. And thanks Joe for taking care of the poopies the rest of the night and this morning. I'm so lucky to have such caring people around me.

Where Do I Start?
A few days later we put up our $12.00 Christmas tree that we bought from a local exchange store. I've been buying ornaments little by little since August and I think the overall decor looks great.
And of course since we have curious crawling boys... this is what our christmas tree really looks like:
And finally, the present time:
On Thursday night Joe was vomiting through the entire night, but he had a big test on Friday that he couldn't miss. He ended up making it in time for the test, but not doing very well on it, which means that he will have to take the final on Tuesday. He is feeling much better now, so we think it must have been a 24 hour bug that I think I have now (Although my symptoms aren't as severe which I credit to my stellar immune system). Unfortunately Ethan has become quite ill as well starting last night. We aren't sure what it is, but he has a temperature and is very lethargic. I will call a nurse tomorrow to see what I can do.
Though all of this seems fairly grim, it just makes us all the more excited for finals to be over, our illnesses to have passed, and us be on our way back to Utah to visit family and friends.
